Brabec Step BrothersIn addition to performing with Rob Brabec, Greg is an active freelance musician on both accordion and guitar. He has performed at festivals and special events across Canada with groups such as The Rodeo Riders, KlezMerovitz, DJ & The Whiz Bang Zowie Orchestra, Miss Molly and The Saddle Pals. Some of these events have included The Calgary Folk Music Festival, The Arctic Winter Games and The Calgary International Children's Festival. Greg has also performed in two theatrical productions; Shakespeare In The Park and Theatre Junction. Besides performing music and entertaining with Rob Brabec, Greg is also a guitar instructor at The Conservatory at Mount Royal College. He has been on the faculty since 1998 teaching contemporary and jazz guitar.

Robert Brabec has played the accordion since he was a child. His musical talent grew throughout his early years by playing at festivals, parties and competitions. He has produced six albums over the past 25 years, appeared on television and radio programs as well as performed at restaurants, private parties, community events and weddings. Rob has gained a reputation for playing lively and entertaining music that draws crowds of people and leaves a lasting impression. He is also a past Happy Hans Winner at the Kimberley International Old Time Accordion Festival where he has played concerts, dances and at the platzl. Rob has performed Cajun-Zydeco music with Crystal Plamondon and now plays primarily with his partner Greg Rumpel.
